What the sea brings us

Program that begins with the collection of elements of marine and human origins on the beach. In the auditorium of ELA, the children will then discuss the origin and possible artistic use of the pieces found, giving a new use to the garbage, combining with natural elements. The session ends with a visit to the Museum of Fisheries and Aquarium.

The Changing Littoral

This program gives information on the geomorphology of the littoral, global warming and climate changes, coastal erosion, the rise of the sea level and the mitigation measures. It consists of a indoors and a pratical outdoors part, where participants can observe directly the concepts and the processes.

Nature Interpretation Walks

This program consists of a 3 km walk on the beach between Miramar and Granja, during which the fauna and flora, the dunes and the recuperation and conservation of the creeks are discussed. Visits to Environmental Creek Center «CEAR», Aguda's Dune Park and «ELA» are included (2.5 hours).

A Night at the Bottom of the Sea

Fun and educational activity where the acquisition of knowledge is related to a new social experience, encouraging the adventurous spirit of children and their interest in the discovery of nature. Participants stay in the Aquarium at night and will "dive" with a special camcorder to observe the nocturnal species.
